IMPROVING LIFE QUALITY WHILE HELPING THE ENVIRONMENT

The 7th edition of the 'Well-Tech Award' explains how to do it

From the 16th of April to the 20th Palazzo Isimbardi, headquarters of Milano's Province, hosts the 7th edition of the 'Well-Tech Award'. Both a prize for technological innovation and a great opportunity to see those products that have stood out at an international level for their technological innovation and their qualities of accessibility, sustainability and quality of life. These are some of the categories that will be awarded.

These are the key requirements of the new technologies designed and researched by Well-Tech, an organization founded in 1999 whose aim is to promote innovative and sustainable systems within Italian industry. This year, twenty out of sixty products have been selected by its observatory and range from cars to household appliances, from eco-compatible materials to new forms of renewable energies.

The major novelty of 2008 edition is the project 'W-T Village', an architectonic future scenario created with design materials and products, rigorously made in Italy. During the Saloni's week, this is a further way to celebrate the value and importance of Italian creativity. The exhibition is free and it is open every day from 10 a.m. to 10.30 p.m.
