The Expo 2015 will change Milano's look and life. Until yesterday it was a hypothesis, now it is a reality. Numbers suggest the event's extraordinary relevance: Euro 20 billion of investments, more than 29 million visitors and at least Euro 44 billion in invoicing, just to name some of the data which emerged in the last few weeks. According to a survey carried out by the Chamber of Commerce on a sample of 1,178 companies, the invoice's boost will reach Euro 44 billion, that is an average increase of around 10%. The jobs offered during the Fair's realization will be 70,000.
Industry - not only the Milanese one, but also the Italian in general - will certainly benefit from the Expo. The most advantaged field, however, could be the tourist one, with an expected boost of 25%. The real estate sector is due to register an increase of 15.1%, 13.5% for what concerns the construction one.
The flush will be ubiquitous: a study lead by the Chamber of Commerce of Monza-Brianza has foreseen that in Roma the services will reach Euro 540 million euros, in Venezia 421, in Firenze 223 and in Napoli Euro 114. 4.1 billion will be needed to build the pavilions of the new Expo area, near the Rho-Pero exhibition center.
