"ART E DOSSIER" MAGAZINE RENEWS ITS FORMAT

New sections and columns for the historical monthly magazine

"Art e Dossier", historical arts magazine, renews its format and management: professor and art critic Philippe Daverio has been nominated scientific director. He takes over from Gioia Mori, editor in chief of the magazine for 12 consecutive years.

"The latest edition marks a new start for the magazine" the publishing company Giunti has explained. "Even the graphics and the format have changed". More pages, added columns, special attention to current affairs, trade, internet, design, architecture, photography are a few of the new features of "Art e Dossier", which this month is dedicated to Chinese arts.

The price remains fixed at 4,90 euros and so do the traditional sections of the magazine: "News", "Save it" "L'oggetto magico" (design), "Colonne sonora" (arts and music), and so do the sections dedicated to the essays and the comments of Italian and international art critics.

In his leading article Daverio explains his goal: "I would like to give an innovative contribution to the new magazine, by surpassing yesterday's art schemes, erudite but somewhat isolated". "All the arts - added Daverio - must become not only witness but also protagonists of our history".
