GREEN LIGHT MANAGER'S FIERA MILANO TO NEW CONGRESS CENTRE

Only requisite: the structure must be the only one in the City

Fiera Milano's board of directors approved today a preliminary project which entails the building of a new 16,000 seats congress centre in the exhibition pavilions of Fieramilanocity in the local area of Portello. Necessary requisite for its realization is that the project must be unique in Milan.

Fieramilanocity board of directors, according to company's dispatches, met today with president Michele Perini for the quarterly October-November 2007 relation, and examined results of the analysis regarding the international congress centre project, as requested by managing director Claudio Artusi. Top managers noted the study had been positive and agreed on the current conditions of financial supportability and feasibility.

Board of directors then gave the green light to Managing Director Artusi to set up the necessary contacts with Fondazione Fiera Milano, owner of the area where the new congress centre should be developed. Claudio Artusi, in addition, has been appointed to define financial and contractual relations between Fondazione and Fiera Milano.
