About 1.900 Italian and international companies will be at the Fiera di Milano from the 5th to the 9th of February; over an exhibition area covering 100.000 sqm, they will show their most innovative solutions ranging from architecture and construction, to companies, architects, window and door makers and other specialized operators of the building sector. The event is called MADE: Milano Architettura Design Edilizia, and this year is its first edition.

MADE expo will also offer visitors a creative program of conventions and special initiatives some of which outside the Exhibition District, in Milano, a city in the front line for international fashion, design and furnishing.

Architectural innovation and sustainable building will be the main topics of the MADE expo opening meeting on the 5th of February at the Auditorium of the Milano-Rho Trade Fair Service Centre, which will be followed by other thematic workshops. Among these is "Building architecture", which will focus on innovation in architecture, especially materials, components and design choices. Urban sustainability of design is the core topic of the workshop "Growing in the City" which will take place in the morning of February 6th, whereas building elements and innovative components will be in the spotlight during the third and last session called "Construction on Site", scheduled for the afternoon.
